Warehouse Operative

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch goods, ensuring attention to detail
• Conduct visual checks on products for both internal and external quality
• Test mechanical operations and ensure units are set up correctly
• Ensure all accessories, components, and documentation are included with orders
• Safely pack items for transit, minimising the risk of damage and meeting customer specifications
• Generate computer-based paperwork for orders and dispatch
• Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with receiving and handling goods
• Participate in regular stocktakes and maintain inventory accuracy
• Perform basic product modifications and rework as needed
• Ensure all forklift and safety maintenance checks are completed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free working environment
• Follow all Health & Safety, Fire, and ISO procedures
• Be prepared to take on additional tasks as required

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven warehouse experience is essential
• Counterbalance Forklift License required
• Familiarity with manual handling techniques and warehouse health and safety regulations
• Strong attention to detail and focus on delivering high-quality work
• Must be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy and awkward items
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
