Our client are currently looking to recruit a highly experienced, passionate and influential Employer Engagement Officer. The successful candidate must have experience across the Education and Training Industry.

About the role

  • Create and maintain employer relationships and manage them appropriately throughout their lifetime
  • To proactively engage with new companies to explore their needs for training and development, with a specific focus on work experience as part of traineeships/NEETs/Sector-Based Work Academy Programmes
  • Provide a solution driven service to employers by undertaking thorough and detail consultation and needs analyses, to determine their needs and requirements
  • Develop a practical account management approach to sourcing, developing and maintaining effective relationships with employers
  • Network with potential employers and match training opportunities, progressing apprenticeship opportunities through to our BDMs

The Company

Our Client is currently looking to recruit a highly experienced, passionate and influential Employer Engagement Officer with experience across the Education and Training Industry. In particular, they are looking for someone who has direct experience of engaging with employers for hosting work experience as part of unemployed training provisions; traineeships and NEET.

The Role

The role will include a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

  • Create and maintain employer relationships and manage them appropriately throughout their lifetime
  • To proactively engage with new companies to explore their needs for training and development, with a specific focus on work experience as part of traineeships/NEETs/Sector-Based Work Academy Programmes
  • Provide a solution driven service to employers by undertaking thorough and detail consultation and needs analyses, to determine their needs and requirements
  • Develop a practical account management approach to sourcing, developing and maintaining effective relationships with employers
  • Network with potential employers and match training opportunities, progressing apprenticeship opportunities through to our BDMs
  • Ensure communication within the team is effective to ensure that all employer opportunities are fulfilled (including all government funded and commercial training programmes)
  • Deliver high levels of customer service and satisfaction at all times, using a solution-based approach
  • Ensure all employer visits and communication is documented using CRM systems (Hubspot) to ensure data can be recorded in a timely manner
  • Produce all relevant documentation / reports in line with requirements of the team
    Attend weekly meetings as part of the Sales and Marketing department
  • Assist the management team to develop sales and marketing strategies to support with the engagement of employers
  • To carry out other relevant and appropriate duties - this may from time to time be specified either within the Sales and Marketing team or supporting the wider organisation
  • Liaise frequently with the Unemployed Programmes Manager to ensure timely work placements are initiated and subsequently completed by all learners on programme
  • Identify progression opportunities for all learners, working cohesively with the delivery team to ensure effective programme completion and off-boarding
