The Company

Our client, a leading Occupational Health Provider, is currently looking for an Operations Manager to work closely with the Division Director within their London-based construction division. The client delivers an Occupational Health Service to a range of major infrastructure projects and their services help to support their employees in the workplace by providing an emergency response service, treatment service, health surveillance and health and well being services.

The Role

The role will include a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the division in conjunction with senior management
  • Contract management/Governance
  • Researching, identifying and proposing business growth opportunities
  • Management reporting and data analysis
  • Developing client plans to determine areas of improvement and identify potential to up sell appropriate services to clients
  • Ensuring the delivery of an Occupational Health service to London construction clients
  • Overseeing resourcing requirements and assisting in recruiting teams

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • Previous experience as Operations Manager (preferably in a service delivery role)
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • A high level of IT literacy
  • Exceptional coaching skills
  • Strong decision making, action planning, and prioritisation skills
  • Knowledge of safety, quality, and cost objectives
  • Ability to travel in to London at least once a week for site visits and client meetings
  • Experience of operational delivery in a health care environment
  • Results driven
  • Commitment to providing the highest level of support and quality
  • Diligence with a disciplined approach to your work
  • Driven self-starter capable of working under minimal supervision
  • Organised, methodical, detail oriented
  • Motivated towards helping people achieve their best work
  • A Degree in Operations Management or Business Field would be an advantage
