Sales Support Administrator

Farnham, Surrey | £27500 per annum | Posted 23 days ago

Our client based in Farnham are currently looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to assist them with order processing and other varied tasks. They provide a wide range of specialised medical products.

This is a close-knit, small team, with working hours being Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing sales orders and quotations
  • Keeping customers informed about new products, prioritising upselling and cross-selling new promotions
  • Speaking with customers/clients to understand their best contact for the company, gathering new information
  • Developing strong relationships with well-known customers and consistently keeping them updated
  • Managing customer queries via email, phone, and online
  • Booking attendance at key events throughout the year, there may be opportunities to attend these events
  • Using the companies ERP system
  • Attend team meetings
  • Some manual handling is required when assisting the team with office deliveries
  • Preparing orders for shipment and arranging couriers
  • Assisting with picking and packing sales orders
  • Arranging import of stock and liaising with worldwide suppliers
  • Quarterly stock take
  • Dealing with sales returns
To Be Successful:
  • Sales administration experience, or administrative experience dealing with sales orders
  • A bright spark, to be able to upsell promotional products to customers
  • Proficiency within IT, including Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • The ability to create and maintain relationships with key suppliers and customers
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills but the ability to work within a team and also independently – sometimes you will have to be in the office alone
