Warehouse Supervisor

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

· Supervising and coordinating the activities of warehouse staff.
· Ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
· Maintaining inventory records and conducting regular stock checks.
· Implementing and enforcing health and safety regulations.
· Training and developing warehouse staff.
· Monitoring performance and productivity to meet targets and deadlines.
· Managing warehouse equipment and ensuring it is properly maintained.
· Collaborating with other departments to optimise warehouse operations.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
· Attention to detail and accuracy.
· Good IT skills (proficiency in the Microsoft Office Package).
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in warehouse management software and basic computer skills.
· Ability to lift and move heavy items.
· Forklift certification is a plus.
