Residential Childrens Support Worker

We are seeking a number of compassionate and dedicated Residential Children's Support Worker for a client based in Eastbourne. As a Residential Children's Support Worker, you will spend your days providing direct care and support to the children in our residential facility. This includes engaging in activities that promote their social and emotional development, assisting with daily routines, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all children. Due to the nature of this role and Enhanced DBS is required.

About the Role:

• Provide daily care and support to children living in a residential facility
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for the children
• Assist in the implementation of individual care plans and behaviour support strategies
• Engage in activities that promote the children's social and emotional development
• Encourage independence and positive decision-making skills
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for the children

• Genuine interest in child development
• Compassionate and patient demeanour
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Relevant experience in a similar role is an advantage
• Relevant certifications in child care or social work are beneficial
• Enhanced DBS is essential for this role
