Are you an initiative-taking, motivated, and hard-working individual with a passion for working with machinery? Our clients are currently looking for a CNC Setter to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC Lathes to produce parts. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate CNC Lathes to produce parts according to drawing specifications
- Set and run proven and unproven programs
- Set tools and produce ‘First off’ parts to the correct quality standards
- Change from machine to machine at infrequent intervals
- Fulfill any necessary training programs
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning of machinery
Key Requirements, Skills, Experience, and Personal Qualities:
- Must have experience in using CNC machines
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Experience with ISO and conversational machine programming
- Capable of using various machine controls
- Strong understanding of how tools and materials react before, during, and after machining
- Ability to foresee and address potential issues in advance
- Basic training in a craft apprenticeship with a minimum of 5 years' experience in actual machining
- Any qualifications in engineering or a manufacturing discipline are a plus
- IT literate and experience with offline programming
- Experience in manual turning and CNC turning
- Familiarity with electronic inspection using Faro Arm is desirable
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate about continuous improvement
- Ability to work well both in a team and independently
- Good listening skills and ability to follow instructions
- Strong initiative and the ability to work autonomously
