Night Shift Machine Supervisor

Are you an experienced supervisor looking for a new challenge? We are looking for a confident and hands-on Machine Supervisor to lead and support a night shift production team at a well-established facility in central Farnham.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join at a time of change and growth. You’ll be responsible for maintaining efficient machine operations while motivating a small team and upholding high standards across quality, safety, and performance.

What’s on Offer?

• 12-month Fixed Term Contract
• Location: Farnham, Surrey
• Salary: £45,000 per annum
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00pm – 6:00am

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation, setup, and safe operation of production machinery
• Lead, train, and support the night shift team to meet targets and maintain productivity
• Monitor production output and ensure adherence to quality standards
• Identify and troubleshoot machine faults or inefficiencies, escalating when needed
• Ensure accurate completion of shift records and reports, including machine logs and safety checks
• Enforce health & safety compliance and ensure team adherence to operational guidelines
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with other departments

Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:

• Proven experience operating and overseeing machinery within a production or manufacturing setting
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage others
• A proactive, solutions-focused attitude with excellent attention to detail
• Confidence to make decisions under pressure and communicate clearly across teams
• A solid understanding of health & safety and quality control standards
• Willingness to train others and drive best practices on the shop floor
