Fabricator/Welder

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a growing and supportive team based in Hook. This is a hands-on role for someone with a solid background in fabrication and welding, looking to contribute their expertise. Working within a well-equipped workshop, you will play a key role in producing accurate and reliable fabrications, ensuring jobs are delivered to specification, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret engineering drawings and fabricate components to required specifications
• MIG/TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium (as applicable)
• Operate workshop equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner
• Carry out quality checks on work to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Assist with site installation work as required (occasional travel may apply)
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all H&S regulations
• Work closely with the wider team to meet project deadlines and priorities

Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Strong MIG and/or TIG welding skills
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings independently
• Good attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• A team-oriented mindset with a proactive and reliable approach to work
