Part time Gardener

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a reliable and experienced Gardener to maintain and care for two well-established private gardens in and around the Hailsham area. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining green spaces and enjoys flexible part-time work.

What’s on Offer?

• Location: Hailsham (including a second garden 10 minutes outside the town centre)
• Salary: £9,000 per annum
• Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
• Hours: 12 hours per week across 3 days (4 hours per day)

Key Responsibilities:

• General garden maintenance including mowing, weeding, and tidying
• Care for established flower beds and seasonal planting
• Upkeep of lawns, borders, and pathways
• Ensuring both gardens are kept to a high standard throughout the year
• Working independently and managing tasks effectively across both locations

Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:

• Previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for horticulture
• Ability to manage time effectively across two locations
• Self-motivated and happy to work independently
• Must be physically fit and enjoy outdoor work in all seasons
