Field Service Engineer

Our client is seeking a reliable Field Service Engineer to provide onsite customer support within the region. The primary focus is to keep machinery operating at peak condition through scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by developing and maintaining strong relationships with both customers and colleagues
• Investigate, diagnose, and independently resolve technical issues reported by customers
• Service a wide range of machinery both onsite and offsite, ensuring all work meets quality standards
• Complete job cards, paperwork, and timesheets accurately and within set deadlines
• Request parts efficiently to minimise downtime and maintain workflow
• Adhere strictly to all repair and inspection procedures to ensure compliance
• Maintain and operate personal and company equipment safely, ensuring all tools are legal and in good condition
• Take full responsibility for health and safety for yourself, colleagues, and customers at all times
• Consistently present a professional image representing the company standards

Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:

• Proven mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience servicing heavy tracked plant machinery
• Skilled in investigating and diagnosing technical faults, including working at heights and under heavy machinery
• Comfortable performing heavy lifting as part of daily duties
• Able to work independently and manage tasks without supervision
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with critical thinking abilities
• Proficient in using MS Office applications for reporting and communication
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong customer and commercial awareness
• Highly efficient, reliable, and committed to completing tasks to a high standard
