Our client, a respected organisation within the financial services sector, is seeking an experienced and strategic L&D Consultant to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of its organisation-wide learning and talent offering. This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior learning professional to influence long-term capability development at an enterprise level. The ideal candidate will be visionary, collaborative, and highly skilled at operating with senior leaders to define strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Shape the strategic vision and long-term blueprint for an integrated, organisation-wide Academy.
- Define priorities, success measures, and milestones for future learning, development, and talent strategies.
- Partner with senior leaders to ensure full alignment with organisational goals.
- Gather insights and build consensus across key stakeholders, acting as a trusted strategic advisor.
- Map current and future L&D and talent activity to identify opportunities for integration and simplification.
- Communicate the Academy’s strategy clearly through high-level presentations and briefing materials.
- Lead thinking on digital trends, future skills, and emerging technologies to future-proof the Academy.
- Conduct horizon scanning and recommend strategic actions to ensure long-term organisational readiness.
Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:
- Extensive experience in L&D strategy, organisational development, or talent management at a senior/strategic level.
- Demonstrated ability to set vision and strategy for organisation-wide or large-scale learning/talent initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with experience operating at executive or board level.
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and conceptual skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex ideas into clear, actionable strategies.
- Experience integrating diverse learning and talent initiatives into a unified offer is highly desirable.
