Warehouse Operative - Forklift Licensed

Our client is seeking a Warehouse Operative - Forklift Licensed to join their team with immediate start on a full-time basis in Hastings. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety conscious individual with a valid forklift licence, looking to work within a busy warehouse environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands on work, takes pride in accuracy, and can support warehouse operations efficiently while maintaining high health and safety standards.

• Salary: £12.21 per hour
• Hours: Full-time, day shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently (loading and unloading goods)
• Move stock within the warehouse and allocate to correct storage locations
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
• Carry out goods in and goods out checks
• Maintain accurate stock records and complete relevant paperwork
• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organised, and safe
• Adhere to all company health and safety procedures
• Support general warehouse duties as required

Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:

• Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance preferred)
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast paced environment
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work full-time
• Basic numeracy and record keeping skills
