Designer

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,500.00 per year

Job Description:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled and detail oriented CAD Designer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Due to the location of the site, candidates must have access to their own transport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings using software
• Interpret technical specifications, sketches, and design briefs
• Develop detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings
• Amend and update drawings in line with client and engineering feedback
• Liaise with engineers, project managers, and production teams to ensure design feasibility
• Ensure drawings comply with relevant industry standards and regulations
• Maintain drawing records and document control procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CAD Designer, CAD Technician, or similar role
• Proficiency in relevant CAD software
• Strong technical drawing and detailing skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Relevant qualification in Engineering, Design, or a related discipline (desirable)
