Job Title: Project Administrator
Location: Near Hastings, East Susex
Hours: Monday – Friday (Full-Time)
Salary: £30,000pa-£35,000pa
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing and ambitious business seeking a highly organised Project Administrator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys overseeing projects from start to finish.
Working within a supportive and collaborative office environment, you will play a key role in ensuring client projects are delivered smoothly, on time, and to a high standard.
The Role
As Project Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing projects throughout their full lifecycle, from initial order through to completion. Acting as a central point of contact, you will liaise closely with operations, sales, and administrative teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery.
This is a detail-driven role requiring strong organisational skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee projects from initial instruction through to completion
- Coordinate with sales, operations, and administration teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing updates and managing expectations
- Track project timelines, budgets, and key milestones
- Ensure all documentation and records are accurate and up to date
- Identify and proactively resolve potential delays or issues
- Maintain clear internal communication to ensure all departments are aligned
- Support continuous improvement of processes and project workflows
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience within manufacturing, construction, landscaping, or a similar project-based environment
- Be highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Thrive in a fast-paced setting with multiple moving parts
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be confident liaising with multiple internal departments and external clients
- Demonstrate problem-solving ability and a proactive mindset
- Be comfortable managing projects end-to-end
