Injection Moulding Setter

Our client is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join their growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business during an exciting period of expansion, working within a fast paced and target driven production environment.

This role is ideal for a skilled setter with strong technical knowledge of injection moulding processes, who can confidently set, optimise, and troubleshoot machinery to ensure high quality production output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and optimise injection moulding machines and associated equipment
• Carry out tool changes, start-ups, and safe shutdowns of machinery
• Monitor production to ensure output meets quality, cost, and delivery targets
• Troubleshoot processing issues and implement improvements
• Complete quality checks, testing, and performance monitoring
• Maintain accurate production records, including settings, outputs, and downtime
• Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times

Skills, Experience, and Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Setter in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of polymers, tooling, machine parameters, and processing behaviour
• Experience with machine setup, optimisation, and fault finding
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
• Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
