Accountant

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and professional client based in Eastbourne who are seeking a Qualified Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant who has previously worked closely with Financial Advisors and understands the importance of delivering accurate, compliant, and client-focused financial support.
This role would suit someone looking to further develop their career within a collaborative and client-driven environment.

Job type: Full-time, permanent
Location: Eastbourne
Salary: £35,000+ per annum (dependent on experience)


Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and client documentation
• Work closely with Financial Advisors to support client portfolios and financial planning
• Assist with tax planning, returns, and compliance requirements
• Provide accurate financial analysis and insights to support client decision-making
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and industry standards
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders, ensuring a high level of service at all times
• Support audits and ensure all financial records are accurate and compliant

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience working alongside Financial Advisors or within a financial planning environment
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
• Experience preparing financial reports and managing client accounts
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
