We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing organisation for an Office Administrator to join their team at their UK Headquarters in Basingstoke. Following recent investment and expansion, this is an exciting opportunity to join a professional and customer-focused business within an international group.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in a sales or office environment who enjoys a varied position combining administration, customer service, and finance-related tasks.

Salary: £30,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support within a busy office environment
- Communicate with customers and suppliers via phone and email
- Process customer invoicing for UK and export orders
- Manage credit control activities, including customer statements and payment follow-ups
- Maintain accurate financial records, including cash books and ERP updates
- Assist with month-end reporting and inventory reconciliation
- Process supplier invoices and prepare payments
- Support VAT reporting and general financial administration
- Prepare reports, documents, and presentations for the Sales Team
- Maintain internal systems including SharePoint and databases
- Provide general office support and cover for team members when required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a sales or office administration environment
- Experience with credit control processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience using ERP systems (e.g. Chempax)
- Familiarity with financial reporting processes
- Experience working in a fast-paced commercial environment
