Driving Courier

Looking for a temporary driving role with early finishes and immediate start dates? We're recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable Driving Courier to join their team in Hastings on a short-term assignment from 10th August to 28th August.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for collecting and delivering goods using a company vehicle, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule. The position would suit someone who enjoys being on the road, takes pride in providing a reliable service, and is comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely drive a company vehicle to complete scheduled collections and deliveries.
• Plan and follow delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals.
• Load and unload goods as required.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and professionally.
• Maintain excellent customer service when delivering to clients.
• Report any delivery issues, delays or vehicle concerns promptly.
• Follow all road traffic regulations and company procedures at all times.
• Keep delivery records and paperwork up to date where required.

Skills & Experience

• A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
• Previous driving or courier experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Confident driving in a safe and professional manner.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A flexible approach with a positive attitude.
• Able to start early and commit to the full duration of the assignment.

What's On Offer

• An immediate start.
• £14.00 per hour.
• Company vehicle provided – no business insurance required.
• Temporary assignment from 10th August to 28th August.
• Monday to Friday, 5:00am – 1:00pm.
