Assembly Operatives

Are you a motivated individual with assembly experience or a background working with small, intricate components? Are you looking to build a long-term career within a large organisation?

We are currently recruiting for multiple Assembly Operatives to join a highly successful and well-established business in Hastings. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided, although experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment would be beneficial.

The role involves the manual assembly of detailed components, so good hand dexterity, patience and excellent attention to detail are essential.

Job type: Full-time, temporary with a possibility of going permanent

Start Date: Immediate start available
Salary: £12.80 p/h

Key Responsibilities

• Manually assembling small and intricate components
• Working carefully and accurately to specific instructions
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the assembly process
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
• Following established processes and procedures
• Working as part of a friendly and supportive production team
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

Skills & Experience Required

• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work carefully and accurately with small components
• Reliable and committed approach to work
• Good ability to follow instructions and learn new processes
• Previous manufacturing or engineering experience would be beneficial but is not essential
• A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within a successful business
