Extrusion Setter Operator

• 45 hours over 5 days per week
• Rotational shift pattern
• 06:00 – 15:00 | 14:00 – 23:00 | 22:00 – 07:00

We are looking for a detail-orientated, proactive and safety conscious individual to contribute a great addition to our team as an Extrusion Setter Operator and join us on our journey to success.

What we are looking for

• To set up, maintain safe operation and shut down of tooling and processing equipment
• Ensure that output is delivered within the targeted cost
• Able to deliver a high level of accuracy
• Transfer technical specification data from drawings
• Ability to process recycled materials
• Operate equipment for development and production
• Set up and run all automated equipment
• Maintain accurate records and update systems
• Work collaboratively with colleagues

Requirements

• Practical problem-solving attitude and ability
• 5 years’ experience in extrusion (preferably PVC)
• NVQ or similar in pipe and profile extrusion
• Experience of setting, operating and troubleshooting a wide range of production tooling with an Extrusion Environment
• Production to Schedule Management Skills / Ability to work to and improve agreed quality management procedures
• Ability to work in a team environment
• A reliable and conscientious individual
