Senior Project Manager

An exciting opportunity to join an established multi-disciplinary consultancy in our growing Birmingham office. We're looking for a professional with a strong background to take on a senior role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent client service, aiming to exceed expectations
• Promote a positive and professional office culture
• Mentor new and junior staff
• Support recruitment efforts to expand our services
• Build relationships with new clients, especially in the residential sector
• Manage project fees, ensuring accuracy and effective forecasting
• Participate in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities

Project Responsibilities:

• Prepare budgets, cost plans, and manage tender processes
• Develop project briefs, fee proposals, and lead client presentations
• Handle contract administration and cost assessments
• Lead project meetings, manage schedules, and ensure timely delivery
• Serve as Contract Administrator/Employer’s Agent on various projects
• Conduct site visits, manage reports, and oversee statutory approvals
• Oversee team leadership and task delegation

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, or Project Management (BSc (Hons) or equivalent)
• Membership or associate membership of RICS or a comparable qualification
