Our client is seeking a talented and highly motivated Marketing Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, managing a small marketing team, and driving successful campaigns across multiple platforms. This role will involve leading key marketing initiatives, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, and optimising strategies based on data insights.

Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the Sales team, suppliers, media, and customers
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders at all levels, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
Marketing Strategy Development & Execution:
  • Identify and position target audiences to create effective marketing plans
  • Lead the execution of multichannel marketing programs, including print, digital, social media, and video assets
  • Oversee the creation of creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet marketing objectives
  • Ensure alignment of communication and messaging across all channels throughout the customer lifecycle
Analysis & Reporting:
  • Conduct market analysis and gather customer insights to inform marketing strategies
  • Develop and maintain analytics reporting across platforms, extracting key insights for future campaigns and market strategies
  • Use data to track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, optimising efforts for better impact
Team Management & Development:
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the UK marketing team to ensure high performance and achievement of objectives
  • Allocate work effectively, ensuring timely and quality delivery of tasks
  • Identify staff development needs and implement coaching and training programs to enhance team skills
  • Manage performance through formal and informal appraisals, providing constructive feedback and driving individual and team growth
Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication:
  • Work closely with email, performance marketing, and web teams to design and evolve lead-nurturing tactics
  • Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and timely execution of marketing initiatives
  • Regularly present marketing strategies, campaign results, and budget overviews to senior leadership
Budget & Resource Management:
  • Authorise expenditure within a set budget for digital materials
  • Ensure efficient use of the marketing budget while meeting all objectives
  • Oversee the ordering and stock control of all marketing-related items
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Stay updated on marketing trends and implement innovative approaches
  • Provide formal and informal training on marketing strategies to team members and colleagues
  • Participate in business travel within the UK and occasionally to Mainland Europe as required

Requirements, Skills & Knowledge:
  • Experience: Proven experience in developing and executing marketing plans and campaigns
  • Marketing Automation & CRM Tools: Expertise with marketing automation, CRM tools, and analytics platforms
  • Strong knowledge of online marketing, social media strategies, and interactive applications
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage various stakeholders
  • Team Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a marketing team to achieve high performance
  • Good IT skills including intermediate knowledge of MS packages
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse data, generate insights, and optimise marketing efforts
  • Budget Management: Ability to manage budgets efficiently and prioritise spending effectively
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in additional European languages (French, German, Spanish) is a plus
