Senior Pensions Data Technician (Scheme Events)

We’re looking for a detail-driven Pensions Data Analyst to lead and support the delivery of pension scheme events and data projects. This is a hands-on role combining technical analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and process improvement.

About the role:

  • Deliver scheme events and projects to agreed timelines and quality standards
  • Review and support the work of data technicians, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Run and transform data extracts, perform bulk calculations, and manage uploads
  • Build and enhance Excel templates and macros for regular tasks
  • Maintain audit trails and test communications and calculations
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to improve service delivery
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards including FCA and TCF principles
About you:
  • Experience with DB pension schemes and technical pension calculations
  • Strong analytical skills and bulk data handling expertise
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, nested IFs, data validation, imports)
  • Familiarity with pension administration systems and project management
  • A Level Maths or a degree with a mathematical element, or equivalent experience
  • PMI qualifications (desirable)
