Service & Maintenance Technician

Our client is seeking an experienced Service & Maintenance Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable individual to work across a varied domestic and commercial client base, delivering high standards of installation, servicing, and maintenance work.

The successful candidate will be part of a supportive, team-focused environment that offers ongoing training, development, and long-term career progression. While this is a collaborative role, the ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment is essential.

What’s on Offer?

• Job type: Full-time, permanent
• Salary: £36,000 – £38,000 per annum
• Location: Hastings
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break)
• Holiday entitlement: 22 days plus UK statutory Bank Holidays, increasing with service

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out servicing, installation support, fault-finding, and rectification work across a range of technical systems in line with recognised industry and company standards.
• Complete clear and accurate reports following all site visits.
• Participate in standby duties as part of a structured team rota.
• Work across domestic and commercial sites, adapting to varying client requirements.

Skills, Experience, and Training Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a technical service and maintenance role.
• Experience working in industrial, commercial, and domestic environments.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently.
• Experience working with a range of manufacturers’ equipment and multi-system environments.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, clients, and external organisations.
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently when required.
• Full UK driving licence.
