We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Property Manager to join a well-established and professional property team in a truly varied, end-to-end role. This position offers excellent exposure across all aspects of property management, along with the opportunity to broaden your skill set and develop further within the sector.
This is an ideal role for a proactive and organised individual who enjoys responsibility, variety, and working closely with landlords, tenants, and contractors alike.
What’s on Offer?
- Job type: Full-time, permanent
- Location: Fleet
- Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm or 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications, including ARLA)
- Varied and hands-on property management role
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end management of a residential property portfolio
- Liaising professionally with landlords, tenants, and building managers at all levels
- Managing the referencing process and ensuring compliance with Right to Rent requirements
- Preparing, enforcing, and renewing Assured Shorthold Tenancies (ASTs)
- Managing deposit registrations and overseeing the deposit release process
- Ensuring all statutory records are maintained and properties remain fully compliant with legislation
- Coordinating contractors, maintenance works, and property repairs
- Managing rent arrears effectively and professionally
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date financial records and transactions
- Preparing weekly client reports
- Organising and carrying out property inspections as required
Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in property management
- ARLA qualification preferred but not essential
- Strong understanding of property legislation and compliance requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong numeracy skills with attention to financial detail
- Highly organised with excellent planning, prioritisation, and problem-solving abilities
- Proactive approach with a commitment to delivering high standards
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage workloads effectively
- Confident decision-maker with strong analytical skills
- A collaborative team player with a desire to succeed and develop
