Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Production Flow Controller to join their electronics manufacturing team in East Sussex. This role is ideal for someone experienced in electronics production who can monitor and control workflow across all stages of manufacturing, ensuring smooth progression from kitting to final test and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:
- Track jobs through all electronics manufacturing stages including SMT, AOI, PTH assembly, inspection, and final assembly
- Maintain real-time status of active batches and provide progress updates to management
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, prioritising fast-track and prototype orders
- Collaborate with Production Supervisor to ensure components and PCBs are available for builds
- Drive OTIF (On Time In Full) performance and escalate risks to senior management
- Produce reports on OTIF, non-conformance, and production efficiency trends
- Monitor WIP levels and ensure critical documentation accompanies work packs
- Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring production issues
Skills, Experience, and Requirements:
- Experience in electronics manufacturing, including SMT, PTH, AOI, and PCBA processes
- Strong understanding of production flow, lead times, and OTIF metrics
- Comfortable using ERP/MRP systems to track workflow and report progress
- Strong organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator across shop floor and management
- Ability to respond quickly to line-stop situations and escalate as necessary
- Previous experience in high-volume, multi-stage electronics production
- Familiarity with yield management and rework tracking
