Sammons Recruitment are working with a successful and growing client based in Hastings, who are seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service Executive to join their vibrant team on a 6-month contract basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for proactive and engaging customer service focused individual, who can bring their extensive experience and positive attitude to a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be expected to build and maintain client relationships and manage multiple priorities while delivering excellent customer service.
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday role, but the client is open to a hybrid arrangement with some flexibility on start/finish times, allowing for a great work-life balance.

- Job type: Full-time, 6-month contract
- Location: Hastings
- Salary: £29,000 pro rata
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned UK customer accounts and maintain daily communications
- Review contracts and process orders and schedules accurately within SAP
- Process customer orders in line with specific requirements efficiently and accurately
- Process quotations, returns and credit/debit requests
- Investigate and resolve customer queries without delay
- Conduct regular account reviews focusing on delivery performance, backlog and support issues
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Proactively follow-up on quotations and leads
Skills, Experience, and Requirements:
- Over 3 years’ experience within a customer service or account management role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional and confident telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Confidence communicating with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to address any queries or concerns in a professional manner and present satisfactory solutions
- Experience using SAP (desirable)
