Customer Service Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation for a Customer Service Advisor to join their busy service team. This is a fast-paced and varied position suited to someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys solving problems while delivering excellent customer service.

Job type: Full-time, permanent
Location: Farnham
Salary: £34,000 per annum



Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate requests, liaising with customers to minimise downtime
• Log and manage incoming calls and requests
• Maintain regular communication with customers, providing updates
• Input information accurately on a daily basis
• Chase purchase order numbers
• Produce estimates for clients
• Resolve customer invoice queries in a timely manner
• Cover other départements during peak periods and holidays
• Support colleagues and contribute to overall team success
• Ensure all communication is handled in a professional, polite, and diplomatic manner

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer service or coordination role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
• Confident working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong problem-solving ability with a “can do” attitude
• Comfortable handling phone-based customer contact
